It looks like Spyware Guard 2009 manufacturers have drained last bits of money from their former scam and produced a new “racer” – Malware Defender 2009. The design is almost the same, even system control center fake alert looks about same too.  If the similar look would not be enough, it uses same tactics to prevent its removal as well, that is rootkits hidden as device drivers. Malware defender2009 rootkits will disallow access to specific sites tied to legitimate removers to force more people pay for this scam product.

There are simple tricks to disable them. That is, downloading legitimate removers and renaming them prior runing, or disabling the rootkit by finding it between device drivers.
