Spam trick google fails to catch (yet)

One of my co-workers notified my of quite simple spam trick on content creation. The approach is like this:

1. Take an article about blue widgets from other site.

2. Replace blue with new term, change some facts.

3. Post article as your own.

Apparently, this works for the moment.

Example : original site : http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-pc-security-2009.html

And then there is the spammers at loaris.com : http://news.loaris.com/home-antivirus-2010-removal-instruction-how-to-remove-homeantivirus2010/

You make the conclusions. This is a way to generate cheap semi-human writen content, and it is also a theft.

The problem is that the differences between 2 different items in this field are quite small. So I guess Google spam team still has some problems to distinguish “good” and “bad” content automatically. However, this might mean a start of new wave of automatic “quality” content creation, which is not a good thing.
